Opera 地址栏已经具有由合作伙伴 Google,Bing,Yandex 和英文版维基百科所提供的搜索建议功能（配合搜索引擎关键字使用）。在实现搜索建议之前，地址栏提示功能也早已经可以匹配并筛选书签条目和访问历史，不过不少用户觉得这个筛选书签和历史功能做得并不理想。

在 Opera 原有的地址栏匹配筛选系统下，包括书签在内的所有东西通过页面 URL、标题，或者页面内容来匹配，然后根据过往页面访问时间排成一张长长的清单。

新的系统会考量更多因素，然后给每条筛选建议打分,而不仅仅是最后访问的时间。例如，新系统会给书签、输入词在 URL 中匹配的位置，和页面内容中出现匹配的次数分配优先级（译者：读者可能看不懂我说啥，我也不懂自己在说啥）。

这套新系统还没有完工，今后快速拨号也会采纳这套系统，打分系统也会继续完善。

HTML 的全称是超文本标记语言，是用来描述互联网网页内容的最基本的结构化标记语言。某种意义上讲，没有HTML，就没有我们当今内容如此丰富的互联网。

2. 什么是HTML5？
HTML5是HTML的第五个修订版本，最初由Opera欧朋起稿，并在2007年开放这个技术，交给了万维网机构W3C进而制定HTML5。随着HTML5得到了目前所有主流浏览器的支持，HTML5自然成为了新一代的互联网标准。
HTML5前所未有的集成了大量的原生标签和功能，最大程度上减少了对浏览器插件的依赖，使得互联网多媒体内容可以在不同平台上轻松展现，彻底告别兼容性问题。

3. 什么是CSS？
CSS全称是层叠样式表，是由CSS之父，Opera的CTO Håkon Wium Lie 提出的。CSS是用来给HTML等结构化语言增添样式的语言。

4. 什么是CSS3？

7. 什么是网络字体（WOFF）？

插件进程

在分析了海量的崩溃记录后发现，最常见的是插件引发的崩溃，这是 Opera 无法从根本上解决的问题。在 Linux/FreeBSD 上，为了避免这个问题，Opera 将插件放在独立进程中运行，这极大的改善了 Opera 的稳定性及安全性。

现在，这套机制已经引入到了 Windows 及 Mac 平台，本次发布的实验室版就包含了独立插件进程的早期预览版。
64 位版本

独立的插件进程带来的另一优势是，64 位版本的 Opera 可以调用 32 位版本的插件，这使得 64 位版本的发布成为可能，Opera 工程师可不希望发布一个无法使用插件的版本

64 位版本在某些情况下能够提供更好的性能以及分配更多的空闲内存。

此实验室版基于 Opera 12.00，包含之前所有 snapshots 的更新以及硬件加速。向官方报告 bug 时最好说明硬件加速是否启用和是否对 bug 的触发有影响。若要禁用硬件加速，可打开 opera:config#UserPrefs|EnableHardwareAcceleration，将其设置为 0 ，再重启 Opera。
